CARRABELLE BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Franklin County’s Florida Department of Health (DOH-Franklin) advises visitors against any water-related activities at Carrabelle Beach.
Recent results from a water quality test on May 21 show Carrabelle Beach does not meet the Florida Department of Health’s recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria, according to a press release.
DOH-Franklin advises swimmers to avoid the water and beachgoers from participating in any water-related activities at Carrabelle Beach.
DOH-Franklin said the advisory will remain until bacteria levels meet the Florida Department of Health’s accepted criteria.
