The lead-up to this season finale has followed Colter and his brother Russell Shaw, played by Jensen Ackles, who may be best known for his role in the series Supernatural. In the penultimate episode of Season 3, the two brothers came together to dig deeper into their late father’s mysterious work. Now, in this finale, the brothers travel the country to find a victim of a top-secret government research project that may shed light on their father’s mysterious passing.
By the promos of this finale, it looks like the brothers won’t escape this mission without being unscathed. This season will be the last to be produced in Vancouver, as the show moves to Los Angeles for Season 4. Filming for the next season is reportedly set to start in late June.
