Two years after the Pretoria agreements ended the Tigray struggle, what’s the state of affairs on the bottom? The battle resulted in almost 600,000 deaths, with Eritrean troopers combating alongside the Ethiopian federal military towards the Tigray Folks’s Liberation Entrance. Whereas the peace deal referred to as for Eritrean troops to withdraw, Eritrea by no means signed it, and lots of border areas stay occupied. These residing there really feel deserted.
