Namibia votes for brand spanking new president and parliament as ruling occasion faces thoughest race but

Hundreds of namibians queued  to have their say in  basic elections.. Logistical points held up the scheduled closure of pivotal presidential and legislative polls. The vote was held because the ruling paty SWAPO confronted its strongest problem but in 34 years since independence from South African rule. This time round Swapo, whose roots are within the younger nation’s indepence battle, fielded vp Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah who stand to develop into the nation and area’s first feminine chief.
