A whole lot of girls took to the streets of Nairobi to protest towards femicides and to demand motion. However issues shortly turned tense when Kenyan police fired teargas. At the very least three individuals had been arrested, together with Amnesty’s Kenya director. Amnesty and three different organizations have condemned the police response, calling the protests a brave stand towards the continued killings of girls.
