Instagram is contemplating the launch of a separate app for its short-form video characteristic, Reels, its chief Adam Mosseri instructed employees this week, The Data reported on Wednesday, citing an individual who heard the remarks.
The Meta-owned firm is seeking to reap the benefits of TikTok’s unsure standing within the US, aiming to offer the same video-scrolling expertise, the report added.
