For younger folks throughout West Africa looking for a hero, Sékou Touré might be what they’re on the lookout for. However this rehabilitation of the nation’s previous dictator glosses over the tens of 1000’s of deaths attributed to his regime, with entry to the infamous Camp Boiro focus camp now closed to victims’ households.
