It has been a day of unrest in Maputo, Mozambique, within the wake of the killing of two members of the political opposition on Saturday. This Monday, police fired tear fuel at protesters, who had been demonstrating in opposition to the killings and what they are saying is electoral fraud. In the meantime, it has been six weeks for the reason that Ugandan Olympian Rebecca Cheptegei was killed by her former boyfriend in Kenya. The assault underscores a troubling development of male violence in opposition to feminine athletes. Lastly, it’s been every week with out new instances of the Marburg virus in Rwanda, marking a tentative signal of optimism in combating the Ebola-like illness.
