Round 40 members of the Chadian military have been killed in an in a single day assault by jihadist group Boko Haram close to the Nigerian border, the federal government and native sources stated on Monday. Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno stated in a press release that he had visited the scene early on Monday and launched an operation “to go after the attackers and observe them down of their furthest hideouts”.
