South African logistics agency Bakers SA has deployed the primary electrical vans to its fleet of greater than a thousand autos.
Working with Stellenbosch-based EV charging and software program firm Zimi Cost, Bakers’ deployment “demonstrates the monetary and environmental feasibility of utilizing electrical autos for large-scale operations”, the businesses stated.
The deal has seen the primary deployment in South Africa of Mercedes-Benz’s eActros 300l 4X2 mannequin and the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter.
