
Meta Platforms stated Nick Clegg will step down because the social media firm’s president of worldwide affairs. Joel Kaplan, Clegg’s deputy, was named to interchange him as coverage chief.

Earlier than becoming a member of Meta — then known as Fb — in 2018 to guide the corporate’s lobbying efforts, Clegg was deputy prime minister of the UK.
