Kenya’s Sengwer neighborhood is without doubt one of the final to reside within the Embobut Forest, within the North Rift Valley. However the authorities accuses this Indigenous individuals of damaging the forest and has requested them to go away. A whole bunch of households have been forcibly evicted. The Sengwer, whose ancestral lifestyle is underneath menace, accuse the authorities of intentionally burning down their properties and are refusing to go away.
