A number one girls’s rights campaigner has spoken to FRANCE 24 about how she was subjected to feminine genital mutilation on the age of simply seven in her house nation of The Gambia. Fatou Baldeh defined that though the process was a horrific private expertise, it was seen because the norm when she was rising up. However later, when finding out in Scotland, she turned extra conscious of what had occurred to her. She has now returned to The Gambia and is the founder and CEO of Girls in Liberation and Management. She talked to us on Perspective forward of Worldwide Girls’s Day this coming weekend.
