Music’s biggest stars descend on Las Vegas Monday night for the American Music Awards.
Taylor Swift is expected to dominate the night following the success of her chart-topping 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl.
The pop superstar leads the 2026 AMAs with eight nominations, including artist of the year, album of the year and song of the year for “The Fate of Ophelia.”
Swift has won 40 AMAs, more than any other artist in history, but did not win in any of her six categories at last year’s ceremony.
This year, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean, Sombr and Morgan Wallen are close behind Swift with seven nominations each. Lady Gaga and Alex Warren picked up six nods each.
Performers at the ceremony will include K-pop sensations BTS, singer-songwriter Teddy Swims and the newly reformed Pussycat Dolls, who will be joined by Busta Rhymes. Sombr, Hootie and the Blowfish, New Kids on the Block and Twenty One Pilots are also on the lineup.
Queen Latifah will host the show, which will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET on Monday.
