Following another successful season, the North Allegheny boys’ lacrosse team had six players named All-Section on Thursday.

Juniors Mason Brown and Ryan Palmer were named to the first team. Seniors Ian Boal and Johnny Castillo, along with sophomores Evan Wade and Sam Walters, were named to the honorable mention team.

Brown was a sparkplug for the Tigers throughout the season, making plays on both ends of the field. He finished second on the team in scoring with 31 goals in 2026. His total varsity goal count currently sits at 36.

Palmer is a team captain and one of the long pole leaders for the squad, making solid defensive contributions this season.

Boal was another high-energy performer for NA throughout his career. Known for great efforts in the midfield, he provided a couple of key clutch efforts in 2026, including a game-winning overtime goal. That was one of two goals in his varsity career.

Castillo has been a steady offensive presence for the Tigers over the last few seasons. He finished third on the team in scoring with 17 markers in 2026, eclipsing his 100th career goal in the process. He finishes his NA career with 107 total goals and is now preparing to become an offensive threat at Ohio Wesleyan University next season.

Wade was a newcomer to the Tigers in 2026, transferring from Pittsburgh Central Catholic after his freshman season. He quickly became one of North Allegheny’s main offensive pillars, leading the team in scoring with 42 goals.

Walters split time with senior Alex Costa throughout much of the season, but looked sharp in net for NA and looks to take the full-time role for the next two seasons. He finished with a team-leading 98 saves and looked very agile in high-pressure moments.
