It is not uncommon to see a group of tradies sipping on a Dare Iced Coffee, offering a morning pick-me-up before a day on the tools.
But the morning staple has undergone a transformation.
Australians across the country have pivoted to making coffee at home to stave off rising cafe prices, and Dare has jumped on this bandwagon.
You can now pick up Dare Iced Coffee sachets from Coles and independent grocers.
This means you can make your own caffeinated concoction at home.

Patrick Davis, Bega Group’s marketing manager for iced coffee, said they’ve adapted to how Aussies are consuming coffee these days.
“We’re seeing people take real inspiration from cafes and social media, experimenting with flavour and presentation in everyday settings, whether that’s at home, at work or on a holiday,” he said.
“The coffee sachet aisle has traditionally been about practicality over personality, so we saw a real opportunity to do something very Dare.
“Dare Iced Coffee Sachets bring bold flavour, Aussie energy and fun to the category, unlocking occasions beyond the fridge and giving fans more ways to enjoy Dare.”

Why are Dare’s coffee sachets different?
This marks Dare’s move into a completely new aisle of the supermarket and allows Aussies to make coffee however they see fit.

The sachets come in a pack of eight, and each coffee will cost you just over $1.
It also has a unique selling point compared to other coffee sachets you’d find in your local supermarket.
There are three flavours available for Dare’s new instant coffee sachets.

Many items on the market at the moment will already include milk powder or a type of milk.
This is designed so that you only need to add hot water to the coffee sachet and you’re good to go.
But it means vegans and people with milk allergies can’t partake.
Dare’s, on the other hand, is dairy-free. This means you can pair Dare’s coffee sachet with whatever alternative milk or liquid your heart desires.
Aussies love making coffee at home
While cafe culture is massive in Australia, research from market researcher McCrindle revealed that the majority of Aussies will make a coffee at home.
A whopping 86 per cent prefer to whip up something quick and easy at home rather than head to their local for a barista-made cup.
Young Aussies, though, are far more likely to head to a cafe (61 per cent for Gen Z and 53 per cent for Millennials) compared to their older counterparts (36 per cent for Gen X and 33 per cent for Baby Boomers).
Older Aussies are more inclined to like instant coffee, while young ones have a much higher preference for espresso coffee.
